⚡ Take 2 Minutes to Protect Affordable Housing

Our successful ADU Bonus program faces potential changes just as it's proving its worth. The numbers tell the story:

  • 1,226 new homes since 2021

  • 470 affordable units created

  • Zero taxpayer dollars required

This approach has opened previously exclusive neighborhoods to teachers, nurses, and middle-income professionals without requiring public subsidies. There are certainly improvements to be made. The program could incentivize more ADUs in our most exclusionary coastal communities. But the solution is not to abandon the program altogether.

Help protect this program by writing to your elected officials.
